Bossio: "Voro will make us a strong team for the situation"
VCF ambassador Miguel Ángel Bossio added his name to the list of those supporting Voro in his latest interim tenure in charge of Valencia CF, and believes the caretaker coach is the man to get the team out of a nervy situation.
A moment for analysis
“It's a moment for analysis, and a transitional process that has brought us to this necessity, due to circumstances that we obviously aren't happy about.
I think that Voro is 'one of the players'. He's been around them and been part of their day to day work in training. That's no guarantee that he will resolve the situation, but it does mean that he's the one who will understand things best and best relate to the anxiety and complicity in some tough moments.”

Voro’s morale boost
“The players are the fundamental piece of things, and they are the ones who are going to have to pull us through this. Voro is going to give this morale boost to make them a strong team for the situation. That's not only because he's been effective before; right now we need somebody from within, one of us, who has been alongside us. Above all, the players are going to know perfectly well that when Voro gives them a warning or advice, that it's because he's one of them.”
Helping the players perform
“We've seen this squad have great games. The fundamental thing is that we are going to reproduce the things that we've done best at each time, applying it to the games that remain. That's a necessity and an obligation. We are Valencia CF. As we always say: When you're out on the pitch, the badge doesn't win you anything. We are going to try to get the best out of each of the players, so that our final games are like our best performances.”

The situation
“It makes us angry, and we struggle to understand how we've got here. This should have been resolved earlier. These points that we are playing for from now on come in 'finals' because we've dropped points in different situations. We hope that this doesn't hold us back. We need to have high morale and faith, and try to conclude the season in a positive way as soon as possible. Let's make things easy, with the conviction that we are going to get through this. Obviously we need to give freedom to each player, and give them support so that they have confidence in what they are doing.”
Higher expectations
“Because of the club that we are and the team that we represent, we know that this isn't the position that we should be in. Our ambition and objectives were different to this, but unfortunately we have to get through this because it's the situation we are in.”
